Today I took Yatzie and Moët to a new tracking course. Not that they need to learn to use their nose - they know it too well ;-) - but they could learn something about using it the way I want them too :-) ! It is so nice to do things together and they really enjoy it. The task was to follow the track of the coach and find an object at the end of the track. They performed excellent! I take both of them with me and train one after the other. It works fine. It is also good training for the one that has to wait patiently for her turn!

This lovely sunny evening I was driving around in a for me new area north of Utrecht, just having brought Bas to a football game there, when I came across this paradise like area for dogs. The trees stood in bloom and the evening sun made the colours just amazing! Both me and the dogs felt so happy!

Two months ago I signed for a new office in the neghbourhood, and of course it had to be an office where my darling dogs were welcome. I share this office with Annet, who has a sweet male golden-lab mix callled Diesel. Here we spend the days working hard. at least some of us ;-): the rest get to sleep softly on their common dog pillow and enjoy a treat and a cuddle once in a while!

Yatzie's daughter Ambeloui, from the Champagne litter, had her second litter today! 2 females, black and white, and 4 males, 1 sand, 1 brown, 2 black, all with white markings. The father is Nelum - Himalis Filip. My beloved Yatzie turns 9 years old today!  My sweet friend who is always with me and means the world to me. You have changed my life, and I can't imagine it without you! For her birthday she had a yummie bowl with raw beef and a bone. Of course Moët got the same after sitting waiting nicely!

We spent the weekend at the dog friendly De Wilmersberg Mansion Hotel in Twente. When we arrived we were happily surprised to find a present for the dogs in our room with dog treats, a toy and a blanket. It was a perfect place for a relaxing weekend together with the dogs. When it came to public areas they were allowed on the big terrass and in the library where the open fire was burning in the evening and where we could have our breakfast - other guests had theirs in the restaurant :-) ! The area was perfect for long walks and biking tours. We rented bikes and biked around under a blue sky in the lovely nature of Twente. 

Amaro was one of the strongest built males in the nest and he is developing into a very handsome guy with a lot of the old line characteristics. He is the center of attention in his loving family and gets to come along with his owner on all kinds of exciting business trips. At home he managed to become almost equal in status with the cat Chico, who was cautious to start with, and he is also good friends with all the birds sharing their home!

Merveille was such a happy and brave girl in the nest and she still is. She captures everyone's attention with her one white leg, and everyone's heart with her sweetness. Her big fan Idrith, 1 year now, learned to say Effi before she said mama!!! If Elvi is away idrith continuously asks for her. She and her brother Yurian hug and kiss her through the day and she loves it! Yeye and Elvi have become best friends and play a lot.
